I greatly enjoyed being there, the place is lovely and charming.
The location was stunning and I could use free parking on-site. The room I booked was wonderful and delightful with a good modernised bathroom, an exceptionally good shower, a cosy bed. The service was NICE, I had 1 beautiful night here. Actually everything was wonderful, my next choice again in Stroud.

The breakfast had lots of food, like cheese and potato. The location of the hotel was best possible, to another pub for a drink in the village.

The suite was generously sized and offered fine views of the local church. Breakfast featured a good selection, and the a la carte menu had standout dishes, particularly the pigeon wellington. Traffic noise from the main road could be disruptive at night, and the en-suite, while nice, had some areas that could use an update. The atmosphere combined with excellent service.

The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a well-appointed bathroom. Although the check-in process was efficient, dessert was forgotten and took too long to arrive. The breakfast, especially the full English, was great and made up for some of the service hiccups. Homemade soups were also a good highlight during dinner.

Had an enjoyable stay with excellent service and food. The staff were very welcoming, although the restaurant struggled with availability and some dishes were off the menu. The room was nice but could use some updates. It was a pleasant experience despite a few bumps.
